How does the software differentiate instruction for different learning styles?  

The software has lessons that are thematic which follow the pattern of a pre reading activity, digital presentation and comprehension excercises which target different learners.

Yes, because it has explicit instruction, supported practice, independent practice and ongoing formative assessment.

The name of the product is Compass Learning

·      How will you use this software in your own classroom? Why?  

I currently use the data from NWEA and STAR assessments to guide my instruction in class because it gives me an individualized report for each one of my students.It tells me their strengths and weaknesses so my instruction going forward can be beneficial for them.

Programs run through compass learning that allow progress monitoring to ensure student growth and to track progress throughout the school year.
